Dorm Rat on Demand

What Is It? The better question is, "Who is he?" Rob is "the world's first clickable human." (Cindy Margolis might argue that point.) Force college-dude Rob to watch Frequency, make him sing and dance to Britney Spears, even kick him in the crotch. Just point and click, and Rob becomes your own virtual puppet. Think of him as a White House intern—only not as cheap.

Why's It Hot? It's part of Nibblebox's new fall lineup debuting this week. The site has been making noise lately by pairing off big Hollywood types (Amy Heckerling, Steven Soderbergh, Minnie Driver, etc.) with no-name undergrads and then setting them loose to make undergrad-friendly shows for their frat-house peers. Enter Virtual Rob.

Who Made It So Hot? USC students Nick Howard, Kevin Roache and Ron Kerkovich (aka, Virtual Rob). Go guy Doug Liman served as mentor. Money.

Where's It Showing? Nibblebox. No need to rush. Rob ain't goin' anywhere. Doesn't look like he has too many classes.
